Monitor all aspects of the environment (e.g. server room), including:
* Temperature * Humidity * Water * Smoke
Motion already exists, and could be used in combination with the camera. Including the other environmental sensors would make this a complete environmental monitoring suite that could be used with a variety of software.
A base module that can collect the input from N number of sensors would be desirable. This way only one extension module needed on the BugBase - and 1-65535 sensors such as these could be used. Perhaps 1-8 hardwired, 65K via WiFi...

Temperature probe would be preferable. Like the capability for the temp sensor to be 10 meters from the base unit (for high temp monitoring) of boilers, furnaces, etc.

1-wire has a lot of sensor elements designed for low power, environmental detection (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1-Wire). Adding a 1-wire port to the environmental control would allow for expandability with minimal cost.
What is the spec for this? I saw a project that use a volt meter to measure the contents of water. Will it have an external probe?
